Rug Gallery - Traditional Oriental

A general definition of an oriental is a hand-knotted pile rug made of natural fibers, coming from the Near East, Middle East, Far East and the Balkans. These rugs are woven on a loom using warp and weft threads which create a pile and a pattern. They are often renditions of classic, old Persian patterns with either original or today's color palettes.
