Andrew Neave will be introducing and discussing a new collection of rugs inspired by textiles of the British Raj period. The exotic eighteenth century English silks, with patterns reflecting India's mythological fascination with the language of flowers, have been translated into Tibetan carpets of unsurpassed beauty.
Many original textiles will be at The Rug Source in Denver along with historical information that will add to the mystique and appreciation of both the antique and present day weaving.
• Refreshments and music will reflect an atmosphere in sync with the decorative displays.
• Andrew Neave's presentation, Flowers of the Raj Collection, will be May 6th, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the Rug Source showroom.
